Absolutely! We are based in the South West (UK) and although most of our work tends to be within 100 miles or so of our base, we have played all over the world for various functions.

The cost of hiring Superstition depends on which size lineup you require, where your event is taking place and at what time of year. The best thing to do is get in touch for a quote and we can take things from there.

Superstition are based in South Devon, UK. We typically play venues all over the South West, from Bristol down to Cornwall, although we do travel further afield if required.

By arrangement we would be very happy to do this. We require at least a month of advance notice in order to make this happen.

If you decide to book Superstition we will send out via email a pdf version of our contract. This then needs to be signed and can either be returned digitally or via the postal service. A 20% deposit is also due at this point to secure the date.

A 25% non-refundable deposit is required when making a booking. The remainder must be paid no later than 14 days in advance of the event. Payment via Bank Transfer is preferred.

Absolutely. We offer a free DJ with every booking. Our experienced DJ will keep the music going between the band’s performances and until your finish time if required.

A minimum of 1.5 hours is required to set up and complete a brief soundcheck. This might be slightly longer if you are booking the larger band with a brass section.

The standard line-up of Superstition is a 5 piece band (lead vocals, guitar, bass keyboards and drums). We also offer both smaller and larger options to cater for a wide variety of client requirements and budget. The smallest we offer is a duo, with live lead vocals, backing vocals and keyboards. We also offer a 3 piece, 7 piece, 9 piece and the full show which is a 10 piece. We’re also happy to provide a bespoke lineup if required.

We don’t typically allow customers to choose entire setlists, although if there are particular songs in our repertoire that you would definitely like to hear, we would be happy to accommodate you. Similarly, if there are songs that you don’t want to hear, that’s OK too! Superstition have many years of experience to draw on when choosing material for an event and you can rest assured that you will be in safe hands with regard to the songs played. It’s more fun for us if the dance floor is packed all night!

We require a minimum of two standard 13amp sockets. These must be independent, so not shared with other acts or catering providers. We require a minimum floor space of 5m x 3m to set up. This area needs to be as flat as possible!
